What’s Up Today? 9/21-9/27
Sun:
Spent most of the afternoon at the PAWS Pet Extravaganza – they’re the local no-kill shelter here and this is one of their annual fundraising events. I went to play with all the kitties. =D
I’ve got to get some sort of food going here soon, then I’m working on my pamphlet for Rodent Fest this evening.
Mon:
Worked this morning, spent all afternoon working on the pamphlet. I’ll see about getting it printed tomorrow. Off to take care of the critters and then to bed!
Tues:
Worked this morning, then dropped the CD with the pamphlet on it at the printer’s. I’ll go look at a proof tomorrow. Also stopped at Walmart to get baby wipes. I was closely examining all the labels of all the brands, looking for things like all-natural, unscented, so on. A woman came up and grabbed a bunch, said she recommended the brand I was holding. I think I mumbled something about Bozo’s pee stains, concentrating far more on the label. She gave me a worried look. I don’t think anything I could have said would have explained it at that point.
Worked on the demo cage a bit when I got home, it’s looking good! Got a few calls to make tonight and, of course, HOUSE.
Wed:
Worked this morning, then went and checked the proof. I have to adjust it, I thought the background color would be too dark and indeed it was. Couldn’t read the fine print! So I’ll be working on that for a bit – should be an easy fix though. Then, taking care of the critters and BONES.
Thurs:
Not much going on, just the usual. Nothing good on TV tonight so I’m about to take a nap.
Fri:
Worked today, then went and approved the final proof for the rodent fest pamphlet. I should have them early next week!
Tonight is going to be a movie night for us as well. It’s been a long week, it’s raining and yucky out… we’re staying in. =)
Happy Friday, everyone!
Sat:
Going to do a bunch of chores and try to get some apple wood for the chins processed if the weather cooperates. It’s gloomy out but not quite raining I don’t think. Then, cleaning cages tonight.
One week till Rodent Fest!
