PhotoTales
PhotoTales are a series of real photographs, usually all taken at the same location, with a fictional story superimposed on them. I noticed that when I take pictures of places on my travels, they tend to be pretty bland and don’t have any significance other than “I was here,” like most tourist and vacation photos. Adding the fictional element was my way of spicing them up.
Trouble in Centralia – Photos from Centralia, PA. Centralia used to be a booming mining town in Pennsylvania’s coal belt, until a dangerous underground mine fire which still burns to this day prompted the abandonment of the area.
